The term "Social Capital" describes the "value found in relationships." It's true that our relationships provide us friendship and social support. However, social capital theory focuses on the additional benefits of our social connections. This video looks at Robert Putnam's point of view on social capital, Pierre Bourdieu's perspective, and discusses the professional implications of the social capital. It's important to learn to work well with others. It does not necessarily come natural, however. This video provides a basic introduction to the principle of collaborative problem solving. |
